Updates 7 Jan 2019: Post IPL auction, IPL Governing Council (IGC) meeting soon to take final decision on the IPL 2020 dates. News is coming that the opening match between MI and CSK will be on 29 March 2019 in Wankhede stadium Mumbai. In case of delay due to player unavailability and other cricket series IGC may shift IPL 2020 start dates to 1 April 2020. Final match likely to be played on 24 May 2019.
